Wow, Wonderskin Wonder Blading Lip Stain Masque. Blimey, this one has taken over the world, hasn’t it?! My TikTok feed has shown me nothing but this for about 2 weeks solid. It’s all over socials and beauty blogs and the reviews & tutorials all look too good to be true.
So of course, I bought one!

Wonderskin: Wonder Blading Lip Stain Masque
What is it?
First let’s talk about Wonderskin themselves. Because this brand like to do things differently. On their website they claim ‘We don’t replicate what exists. We look to the future to create new products for now’. And you can see this claim perfectly reflected in their Blading Lip Stain.
The Blading Lip Stain Masque is a lip stain that applies in seconds and leaves behind the most gorgeous colour on your lips, that lasts. In addition, there is zero smudging, transfer or feathering.
Blading It’s named Blading as the lip stain gives a similar effect to microblading, a semi-permanent lip and brow makeup treatment. And yes, they do a brow stain too.
As well as being vegan, cruelty free and gluten free, it is also alcohol free which means it is very comfortable to wear. I didn’t notice any tingling, stinging, etc. In fact my lips felt super soft after application.
My First impressions of Wonder Blading Lip Stain
Honestly? It blew me away. Because I did not expect such a bold, even and beautiful colour in one application, which by the way, takes 30 seconds. 30 seconds!!
You can see from my face in the video below, and my picture here how impressed I was. I was also a little surprised at how well it worked.
I gave it a good rub with the back of my hand and there was no movement at all. Not one bit smudged or faded. This colour is staying put!
I wore it all day, ate and drank, and nothing made a difference. It truly does last. In the evening, I removed all my makeup in my usual way (see my evening skincare routine here) and it was gone. In fact, I actually forgot I had it on so didn’t pay much attention to removal and definitely didn’t scrub the area. I also didn’t notice any lip colour residue on my wash cloth, so not quite sure how that worked. Perhaps magic?
The Application
- Apply 1-2 coats of the Lip Stain to lips and leave for 10-30 seconds
- Wipe away with a damp cloth or tissue
That’s it! It’s so simple. And you’re left with a stunning water-proof lip colour lasts all day. To remove simply use an oily makeup remover.
I have a couple of extra tips to achieve a flawless finish. Firstly, make sure your lips are clean and dry before starting and secondly use a scrub first, if you have particularly dry lip. Apart from those simple tips, there really isn’t any more to it.

- Apply a balm or gloss over the top to make lips look extra juicy, or to change up your look from day to evening.
- Use to stain a lip liner effect on your lips to give a more defined lip without the full colour pay-out.
Good To Know
On their website, there are currently 16 shades to chose from. From these, I selected shade ‘Charming’ to be my guinea pig. Of course now I plan to get my hands on quite a few others, very soon!
They are a US brand who offer free shipping (minimum spend applies) to the UK within 2-3 business days. In addition at the time of writing this, they are offering a free lip gloss with every purchase over £50. I bought mine from TikTok shop as they often have promotions going on, however, the shipping is often highly priced.
Would I Buy the Wonder Blading Lip Stain Again?
Abso-frigging-lutely! I can’t wait to get my hands on some more shades. Wonder Blading Lip Stain Masque has totally won me over with it’s super speedy and easy application process. Not to mention amazing results.
Buying off the back of a load of social media influencer posts can often be a total disaster, or a waste of time and money. Or both! Luckily not this time. And thankfully, I am so glad I was influenced to buy this one.
